Join us at Bethlehem Centre at 2371 Arbot Rd. for a transformational weekend retreat experience with the Interfaith Amigos from Friday Oct 26 to Sunday Oct 28, 2018. This is the Amigos’ only appearance in BC this year! The weekend includes reflective spiritual inter-dialogue, two interfaith workshops and interfaith worship with the globally recognized “Interfaith Amigos.”

This exciting weekend includes an open to the public presentation event on Friday as the Amigos share their wisdom, personal stories, and reflections on what helps and what hinders interfaith dialogue. On Saturday they will lead two workshops and time for reflection and introspection. On Sunday morning we will enjoy a worship celebration with insights from all three of the Interfaith Amigos.

These three spiritual leaders first worked together responding to the 9/11 tragedy in 2001, and since then have evolved their understandings and their work through international presentations and the publication of three books. The Interfaith Amigos continue to share what they have learned and focus upon shared values and common universals and the crucial need for the kind of interfaith cooperation necessary for the survival of the human race and of our planet.

The Interfaith Amigos bring extensive individual experience as well; Imam Jamal Rahman is co-founder and Muslim Sufi Minister at Interfaith Community Sanctuary in Seattle and adjunct faculty at Seattle University. Pastor Don Mackenzie is retired as Minister and Head of Staff at Seattle’s University Congregational United Church of Christ, and served congregations in Hanover, New Hampshire, and Princeton, and New Jersey. Rabbi Ted Falcon, who holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, has founded spiritually-oriented synagogues in Los Angeles and Seattle, and functions as a spiritual guide, author, teacher, and spiritual therapist. He continues to teach from the heart of the Kabbalah, Jewish meditation and spirituality.
