World Rivers Day celebrations return to the Burnaby Village Museum on Sunday, September 23, from 11am - 4:30pm. Activities include demonstrations, displays, tours, activities, crafts and music. Juno nominated children’s artist Ginalina is the headline musical performer. There’ll also be performances by ventriloquist Kelly Haines and Stories-on-Wheels .

This event features environmental and stewardship exhibitors with hands-on activities for kids. AquaZone, the Nylon Zoo and the SFU Science Alive team will be onsite.

Plus the Village and Carousel (rides $2.65 each) will be open. The Ice Cream Parlour will also be open, offering a ocean-wise salmon BBQ special. The heritage-styled village and museum grounds containing Deer Lake Brook provide the perfect setting for this community celebration.
