In celebration of BC Culture Days, African musicians and dancers will gather to share their culture with you! Hosted by the African Friendship Society, "Africa with the Masters" is a two-day festival for everyone. Join us for FREE activities and lively workshops in drum and dance.

Open to all ages of all drumming and dance experience.

A day of connecting and exploring African culture through traditional games. Free admission. Bring the whole family!

Day 1 - Sat - Sept 29th - ROOTS UNITED - CONCERT - 7.30 pm
Featuring Africa, Brazil & Cuba
Come discover the beauty of the Diaspora. "Roots United" is a vibrant concert which features music and dance from Africa and Latin America. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Free for kids under 12.

Day 2 - Sun - Sept 30th - ROOTS, BRANCHES & BRIDGES - 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday is our day of exploring our connection to other cultures through music and dance. Join us in a series of drum and dance workshops hosted by professional artists. $5 per workshop or $20 a day-pass.
