Presented by Arkora and Redshift Music, Proverb is the second-installation of the Transfigured Light series, exploring the dichotomies of transformation—death and rebirth, light and darkness—in new and historical choral works, with indie classical, minimalism and microtonal twists.

Composers from New York, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Los Angeles have their commissioned works interspersed by Pérotin and Vicentino, with the concert culminating in Reich's Proverb.

Arkora is a vocal-instrumental ensemble that includes eight singers, electric guitar, piano and keyboards, violin, cello, and percussion, including the Lumiphone, a three-octave marimba.
