Music Friends (www.mymusicfriends.com) is thrilled to welcome esteemed pianist Libby Yu - Piano to our series with two solo performances at UBC and Richmond! This will be an unforgettable opportunity to hear one of Canada’s most acclaimed artists in a casual and intimate setting!

Libby has won numerous awards at the national level, and has been recognized internationally with a Diploma of Honour at the 13th International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland.

She will perform a beautiful selection of music intended for a salon setting from Chopin and Schubert, along with the Chinese folksong inspired Liu Yang River by Wang Jianzhong.

7:30pm - 8:30pm: Performance, with brief spoken introductions for each piece

8:30pm - 9:30pm: Mingling over complimentary wine and snacks
