St. Paul's Hospital, 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver Practical Psychology Skills for Living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
This is a special program offering for people with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis to learn the psychology skills that have been shown effective or of clinical importance in studies.
The focus of this group class is learning proven mind/body therapies specifically adapted to usage for Crohn’s and Colitis: Self Advocacy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Body Connection, Emotion Processing, Mindfulness Meditation, Clinical Hypnosis, and more.
Facilitated by Registered Clinical Counsellors and graduate level interns. - St. Paul’s Hospital - 2018 Fall monthly meetings on Mondays at 2pm or Saturdays at 4pm. - Free
