“Well, here’s a lady in serious demand.”—London Jazz News

Since making her sold-out TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival debut at Pyatt Hall in 2017, Nashville native Kandace Springs has made a lot of friends with her engaging talent.

As The Guardian said in a four-star review, “she has a rare ability that can’t be taught—to sound like an old soul, just doing what comes naturally.” The singer/songwriter/pianist makes warm and sophisticated soul, pop, and jazz with a stunning voice and original material that she showcased on her debut recording, Soul Eyes (Blue Note). This spring, she released her EP Black Orchid. Taking inspiration from the likes of Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, and Lauryn Hill, the organic, intimate, and deeply soulful sound of this “suave songstress” (Wall Street Journal) is remarkably fresh but universally appealing.

She’s just coming off a 35-date tour with Hall and Oates, so don’t miss her in this intimate venue—her star is on the rise.
