Theatre of the Dead is the first Halloween seance in Metro-Vancouver.

One rainy October night, a secret society that was rumoured to attempt supernatural experiments followed a solemn procession into the forests. Their bodies were never found. 13 members disappeared that night. Perhaps they made a suicide pact, perhaps they came to their senses and disbanded, or perhaps they found something... On the 75th anniversary of the disappearance, we invite the courageous and the curious to join in re-enacting one of their rediscovered rituals as we attempt to make contact in an intimate seance.

The seance will have five sittings: Friday Oct. 26 at 7 and 9 PM, and Saturday Oct. 27th at 4, 6, and 8 PM at the Oddfellows Hall at 5425 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta. Spectators can choose tickets at the seance table ($35), for a more intimate experience, or in the gallery ($15), a safer distance from the action. Seating is extremely limited and only available in advance. Potential audience members are warned that the show is intended to be frightening and is not suitable for children.

This event is not for the faint of heart. Attend at your own risk. There are no refunds. Those with heart problems, pregnancy, or health conditions that may adversely be affected by fear should not attend. Theatre of the Dead contains mature themes and frightening situations and is not suitable for children. Event is ages 14+ with adult supervision.
