Shakespearean in wit, very French in its pomp, The Game of Love and Chance is a classic tale of secret identities and affairs of the heart from master playwright Pierre Carlet de Marivaux. Engaging the elemental themes of love, class and the sexes, Marivaux’s play is a witty comedy that proves romance blossoms where you least expect it.
