Join us for this unique interactive and fun social event as The ACT Art Gallery becomes your own Maple Ridge blending room for the evening. Your event begins with a brief introduction to six South American varietal wines, their regions and characteristics. Seated in groups, you and your table mates will then taste, blend and judge the wines created during the evening, awarding “Best Blend of the Night” to the team who best tickled your taste buds. The evening culminates with tasting a ‘benchmark blend’ with specially paired appetizers and cheeses, to see how close the evening’s winning wine came to a master blend. Your guide for the evening is Robert Caron of Univins Wine and Spirits and a former Cellar Assistant for the renowned Tablas Creek Vineyards in California. Attend with a friend, a group, or just come to make new friends at this fun and informative event to “blend the rules” and discover your own wine palate while supporting the Arts Council’s programs.
