The Vancouver Art Gallery presents an exhibition drawn from its collection that examines transformation and change in The Metamorphosis from November 24, 2018 to March 17, 2019. Inspired by Franz Kafka’s 1915 novella The Metamorphosis, the literary classic of a man who one day finds himself with the body of a giant insect, this contemporary exhibition looks at transformation through physical, spiritual and cultural realms. Discover installation works, film, photography and sculpture by local and international artists: Sonny Assu, Beau Dick, Lyse Lemieux, Marianne Nicolson, Skeena Reece, Fiona Tan, Wang Jianwei, among others.
