An ultimately humanistic blend of folklore-infused horror and Lynchian absurdist allegory about grief, guilt, and loss, Johannes Nyholm’s (The Giant, VIFF 15) ethereal drama makes use of a repetitive scenario (à la Groundhog Day) and delirious visuals to show us a camping trip gone nightmarishly - and endlessly - wrong. Trying to recover from a family tragedy, couple Tobias (Leif Edlund) and Elin (Ylva Gallon) take their tent into the woods - where they encounter a trio of carnivalesque psychopaths…
