Walter Murch is a three-time Oscar-winning editor and sound designer who, for more than 40 years, has worked at the top of his profession. His credits include the critically acclaimed Apocalypse Now, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Conversation, The Talented Mr. Ripley and The English Patient. Most recently, Mr. Murch has made ventures into documentary editing with the remarkable, physics-themed Particle Fever and Taghi Amirani’s Coup 53, which is screening at VIFF 19.
