Adam Sandler delivers the goods in this intense, jittery thriller by the Safdie brothers (Good Times). He's a New York jeweller and a natural born gambler who bets the farm on uncut black opals he smuggles in from Ethopia, but foolishly shows them to NBA star Kevin Garnett (who insists on borrowing them as a good luck charm).
