“laro na tayo – let's play” is a performance event that invites participation. Commissioned by the City of Vancouver Public Art Program, the project is a series of 8 events that introduces “sipa”, a precolonial game played in the Philippines. The performance explores the Filipino-Canadian experience of migration through a childhood game.
