Nashville screenwriter Joan Tewkesbury only ever directed this one theatrical feature. It’s an intriguing, curious story by Paul and Leonard Schrader about a psychologist, Diane Cruise - played by Talia Shire - who embarks on a road trip to revisit her old boyfriends in the wake of her marriage ending.
