Musqueam First Nation, the Museum of Anthropology (MOA), and the Museum of Vancouver (MOV) partner on a transformative journey to explore an ancient landscape and living culture that can be found right underneath Vancouver’s nose. c̓əsnaʔəm, the city before the city, opening on January 25, 2015, is a series of three unified exhibitions that connect Vancouverites with c̓əsnaʔəm – the ancient village and burial site upon which Vancouver was built. Exhibitions include soundscapes, original videography and family-friendly interactivity.
