Five International Artists explore causality, choice and territorialism. The search for power and control characterize each of the works. Electronic media & robotic works as well as small and large-scale video installations attempt to establish fragile equilibriums. There are ambiguous tensions here; between freedom of choice and its repercussions; between what we understand as success, failure or stasis. Works teeter, circle, and quiver in the balance; threatening. The timing and outcome of what might happen next; the resolution we hope for (the resolution we fear) takes us to the brink.
