    Dance, Performing Arts

Dance, poetry and music come together in Three Sets/Relating At A Distance, a triple bill of varied and beautiful works by Vancouver choreographer Lesley Telford. The program features the first section of Telford’s upcoming full-length creation, Spooky Action At A Distance, which is inspired by Einstein's famous phrase referring to particles that are so closely linked, they share the same existence. Created in collaboration with poet Barbara Adler, the piece seeks to extend the theory to human connections in our phenomenally interconnected world. A new extended version of If, a trio based on Anne Carson's poem, and the duet My tongue, your ear, with text by Wislawa Szymborska, complete the program.
Presented as part of The Dance Centre's Global Dance Connections series.
