Cypress Challenge

    Sports, Activism

Since 2008, the Cypress Challenge has raised over $2.05 million benefiting leading-edge pancreatic cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency and Pancreas Centre BC. The dedication to find a cure for pancreatic cancer began with Geoff Glotman, an avid cyclist, who was looking to give back to the community after his mother-in-law had passed away from the disease.

So on Sunday, August 13, 2017, take on the Cypress Challenge, either by yourself or in teams up to four, and choose between a 5km climb to the First Lookout or a 12km climb to the Cypress Hollyburn Nordic Area. The harder we climb, the sooner we can change the outcomes for future pancreatic cancer patients.
