The Granola Girl Foundation launches their second fundraising event of the year this August at UBC Farm in Vancouver. The “Good in the Hood” Summer Jam is focused on creating change through empowerment along with supporting small businesses in the plant-based food industry. All proceeds from the event tickets will go towards the Granola Girl Foundation.

The Granola Girl Foundation provides scholarships for organizations to promote entrepreneurship in children and increase girl empowerment. Granola Girl has also partnered with Sprouting Chefs, Girl CODE Empowerment program and UBC Farms for this event.

Social media support for the event is provided by Social T., a boutique digital marketing agency in Vancouver. Several of Social T.’s clients will also be in attendance to provide samples and sell their plant-based goods. Attendees will be able to meet the team and brands behind Lloyd-James Plant-Based Sales & Marketing, try quality beverages from My Matcha Life, and enter for a chance to win the grand door prize, a two-night stay from Nectar Yoga BNB on Bowen Island.

Hot meals will be provided. There will also be a live performance, plenty of prizes and much more!
