Join Tim Sars Quartet featuring Shannon Scott for a summer evening of swinging hot jazz & ridiculously fun dancing at Vancity Hot Jazz JAM!

Tim Sars has been bringing joy to the musical community in Vancouver for over 15 years, playing with various friends all around this city. His exciting baritone sax playing, and uplifting vocals delve deep into the roots of trad. jazz. Shannon Scott is also rooted in the jazz tradition, doubling between voice and joining the rhythm section on her baritone ukulele. On bass we have Tim's right hand man, Wynston Mickler; Wynston and Tim have been playing for the last ten years in clubs, schools, and festivals all over BC. Lastly we have Liam Macdonald, a wonderful percussionist that has just returned from studying in New Orleans. This powerful quartet is gonna take you on a ride, from swing, to lindy hop, to some New Orleans street beat tunes, so come cut a rug!!!
