This is our third annual fund raising orchestra concert for the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre - and this year, the YWCA programs for women living in the Eastside will benefit as well! 42 of Vancouver's professional orchestral musicians are donating their time and talent to play music by women composers, to benefit women living on the Downtown Eastside. Come and be enchanted by gorgeous orchestral music written rarely-heard women composers: Clara Schumann, Elizabeth Knudson, Lili Boulanger, Rebecca Clarke and others. All costs of the concert are donated, so every penny of your ticket goes to help women of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
