The City of Surrey is set to kick off the Holiday season with the return of Surrey Tree Lighting Festival from 12pm – 7pm on Saturday, November 25 at City Hall Plaza and City Centre Library. The event attracts over 25,000 attendees as they watch the lighting of Surrey’s 55-foot Christmas tree—one of the tallest Christmas trees in Canada—at 6:30pm.

The public is invited to join Mayor and Council for a day of free family fun, including a Canada 150 zone, amusement rides, road hockey, a Christmas Market, ice carving demonstrations, face painting, photos with Santa, food vendors, photo booths, a giant snow globe, PLUS over 30 musical and family performances across four stages!

The event will raise funds for local charities including Surrey Fire Fighters Adopt a Family, Surrey Food Bank and the Surrey Christmas Bureau. The full list of performers, including this year’s headliners will be announced soon!
