Dr. Colin MacLeod, UBC: INTEGRATING PARASITE ECOLOGY AND MARINE BIOLOGY. He will provide an overview of the limited integration of parasitology and marine biology, highlight results of his own research on ocean acidification and parasitic infection on marine invertebrates in the context of biodiversity, community structure and ecosystem stability.
