Marcus Mosely and Shari Ulrich are bringing back the traditional 60’s “be in” for one night only: Friday, Nov. 10th at St. James Hall in Kitsilano.
Called “Give Peace a Dance”, the event will feature music by Mosely, Ulrich, the Marcus Mosely Chorale, and Russ Rosen. Warning: there will be dancing!
“The world is a scary place right now” explains Mosely. “As a child of the 60’s I remember the sense of community, compassion, and care for the world that was so closely linked to the music, and the way we would feel that soul and hope move right through our bodies. I wanted to find a way to bring that spirit back to present day. If ever there was a time we needed to come together in peace and hope, it’s now.”
The show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $30 and supplies are limited. They can be obtained through the Marcus Mosely Chorale website (mmc2011.ca) under “events”, or by calling the ticket hotline at 604 770-1088.
