The Boathouse restaurants offer Pacific Northwest cuisine in a sophisticated yet understated environment. With several locations throughout Greater Vancouver, the Boathouse restaurants are open for both lunch and dinner seven days a week, as well as weekend brunch at select locations. Their menu, which concentrates on items that are Ocean Wise-certified, features items like delicate maple-glazed cedar plank wild salmon, black pepper sea scallops served with wasabi mashed potatoes, and ginger-accented Alaskan sablefish. However, their team of chefs has also developed a range of dishes which highlight a robust selection of beef and steak, most notably fire-grilled sirloins, tenderloin filets, and New York steaks. They also have a children’s menu with such favourites as fish ‘n’ chips, noodles and cheese, and a grilled chicken breast served with vegetables and rice. The Boathouse restaurants have won a number of awards, including the Georgia Straight’s Golden Plate Awards for Best Seafood, Best Fish/Shellfish, Best Restaurant Patio, and Best Place In Which to Hang Out On a Sunny Day.
