Romer’s Burger Bar serves up all-natural gourmet burgers in a space defined by its red leather booths and a distinctive U-shaped bar. This eatery is open for lunch and dinner seven nights a week. At Romer’s, executive chef Jim Romer ensures that every burger is made with Heritage Farms range-fed Angus beef, natural Fraser Valley pork, turkey, free-range chicken or wild salmon, flat-top grilled to ensure flavour and juiciness. Highlights of this meat-lovers’ menu include the Romer’s Righteous Rib Burger (thick-sliced applewood bacon, braised short ribs, sweet onions, Gorgonzola-garlic sauce, and fresh thyme leaves) and the Ultimate Kobe Classic (premium Kobe beef, horseradish jack, chanterelle mushrooms, onion strings, truffle mayo, organic watercress, garlic mustard, and red wine demi-glaze). Salads on the menu include the seasonal Tuscan greens with toasted pine nuts and organic roasted baby beets with sweet onion, arugula, and local goat cheese. For dessert, be sure to try their house-made deep-fried Drunken Doughnuts topped with powdered sugar or the fresh-baked Kraus pie, served with mascarpone cream.
