Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society was formed to promote and encourage the production, distribution, and exhibition of independent film in British Columbia. Functioning as a production co-operative, Cineworks provides its members with the production equipment and facilities, information-related support structures, and the environment necessary for independent filmmaking.
