Canada's Drag Race winner Priyanka launches Taste Test EP in Vancouver

      A Canadian queen is ready to rule North America and the British Isles with her musical debut by letting audiences have her cake—and eat it too.  

      Crowned the winner of the inaugural season of Canada’s Drag Race, Toronto-based drag queen Priyanka, is now embarking upon a music career. 

      She already released her first single, “Cake”, on May 28 and her second, “Bitch, I’m Busy”, on July 14.

      Priyanka has released her debut visual EP Taste Test on July 16, will is throwing an EP launch party in Vancouver at 7:16 p.m. tonight (July 17) at the Hollywood Theatre (3123 West Broadway). Tickets are $40 and special guests include Gia Metric, The Girlfriend Experience, and PM.

      The five-track mini-album, about breakups (while slaying in glamorous makeup), features Drag Race alum Lemon and Cheryl Hole. Each song will be released with a video revolving around the murder-mystery story “Who killed Priyanka?” 

      After her Vancouver date, Priyanka will set off for England, with shows in London, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, and Torquay in August and September.
