      If there’s one thing you can rely on when it comes to Vancouver’s arts scene, it’s that you’ll be able to find shows that are anything but ordinary. 

      From a circus-inspired play that includes a giant robot to a ‘90s-themed improv night, there are plenty of peculiar events to check out that will keep you on the edge of your seat. 

      All that, plus a few concerts and an artistic celebration of spring in this week’s event spotlight: 

      The Cream of Clapton Band

      Enjoy Eric Clapton’s greatest hits as performed by four musicians with family and musical ties to the legendary artist, including personal stories about the man himself to complement the Clapton classics.

      Spring Group Show

      Check out a collection of contemporary and historical artists at the Petley Jones Gallery in celebration of spring’s arrival.

      Bring Back the '90s!

      We’re taking a trip back in time to a time of lava lamps, boy bands, and mix tapes at the Improv Centre’s themed show, running until May 26.

      MRG Live present Kimmortal x NADUH x Khingz & Mic Flont

      Kimmortal is coming to the Biltmore Cabaret this Friday with R&B/hip hop girl group NADUH. The collaborative combo of Khingz & Mic Flont will also provide support

      RISE–A Circus Inspired Play

      This mix of dance, music, and circus makes for an adventurous night of theatre, featuring everything from faeries and spirits to a giant robot.
