      It’s great that kids get spring break, but it’s also kind of wild that adults don’t get it. Imagine how much happier we’d be with two weeks off in March to recoup. Anyway, whether you’ve got little ones to entertain or just need something to keep yourself busy during a drizzly weekend, we’ve got you covered.

       

      FRIDAY, MARCH 22

      Night Quest

      Ever wanted to explore a forest at night? Now’s your chance. Wander around one of Vancouver’s most beautiful parks in this family-friendly nature experience. Just don’t stray too far from the path!

      Red Velvet 

      How do you feel about a play within a play? Opening last night (March 21), the latest Arts Club production follows Ira Aldridge, the first Black actor to play Shakespeare’s Othello in London in 1833, in a moment of fierce social upheaval.

      Boardientation

      That’s Gay! Comedy 

      You don’t have to be a homosexual to be funny… but it helps. This popular comedy night is back for its 11th edition, with some of the city’s most hilarious queer comics and improvisers.

      Spring Wild Brunch

      Get ready to laugh, dance, and tip at this drag brunch. Hosted by Sisi Sinatra, top-level local talent RainbowGlitz, Kara Juku, and Velvet Ryder are set to bring the nightlife to a much more reasonable hour.
