It was the now-famous catchphrase from B.C.'s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry that calmed a city in lockdown:“This is our time to be kind, to be calm, and to be safe.”

Now the wise words emblazon a new heather-grey custom T-shirt at Gastown's parliament interiors, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Bearing “Be Kind. Be Calm. Be Safe.” in capital letters, the fitted "Bonnie tee" comes men's and women's sizing and sells for $28.

The T-shirts are available for purchase in-store, curbside pick up or by phone 604-689-0800.

The catchphrase helped B.C. flatten the COVID-19 curve, and continue to be used to remind the public about social-distancing as the province opens up.

Henry's near-celebrity status during the pandemic has spurred a small wave of fashion-related fundraisers, including a "Bonnie bee" pendant and funky John Fluevog-designed shoes.

A vision of calm herself, Henry has even spawned a social-media "Bonnie Henry Fan Club", where followers have called her "erudite, truthful, candid", and "an incredible leader and absolute badass".
