      Another celebrity couple is splitzville.

Only this time, it was predicted by a colourful former baseball player—and a member of the select 40-40 club.

Not only that, but it involves another member of the club.

In 1988, Jose Canseco became the first player in Major League Baseball to hit more than 40 homeruns and steal 40 bases.

In fact, he predicted that he would do this at the start of the season.

The three other members of this group are Barry Bonds (1996), Alex Rodriguez (1998), and Alfonso Soriano (2006). Soriano is the only one believed to have done this without using performance-enhancing drugs.

Now, nearly 33 years after Canseco's feat, Rodriguez has broken up with his long-term girlfriend and fiancée, Jennifer Lopez.

And Canseco is chortling over social media that he predicted the demise of J.Rod back in January.

Canseco has one of the more amusing Twitter feeds of any former star athlete.

As you can see below, he's revelling in his predictive powers, suggesting that he has time-travelled into the future to learn that the human race will survive.

He's also offered two injured shoulders to J.Lo should she ever be in the mood for a rebound relationship. Plus, he can predict the price of Bitcoin.
