The pandemic isn't good for a lot of things, but it sure is great for hiking.

Outdoorsy types looking for places to get out and about should consider taking in an online book launch happening on May 11.

That's when former Georgia Straight web and technology editor Stephen Hui--whose previous book, 105 Hikes, made it to Number 1 on the B.C. bestseller list--will introduce his new one from Greystone Books, Destination Hikes.

Presented by the British Columbia Mountaineering Club, the Zoom event will begin at 7 pm Pacific time and see Hui discussing the book and displaying photos from some of the hikes before taking part in a Q&A.
