Here's our monthly reefer roundup, featuring an ultra-potent sativa, something new for cannabis oil aficionados, and a unique cultivar with a prized lineage.

      Wildflower Honey Oil by BOAZ

The Alberta-based growers of some of the finest cannabis going have something new on the market. Cannabis aficionados will remember the days of using a needle to spread weed oil on a rolling paper. But this uses the latest technology (a glass and metal syringe) to allow you to consume by dabbing, rolling, filling, vaping or infusing. THC content: 60 to 70 percent.

      Dunn Cannabis

      Karma by Dunn Cannabis

This indica-dominant hybrid by Abbotsford-based Dunn Cannabis is another in its unique line of cultivars prized for their lineage. Particulars: 25 percent THC; fruity taste.

Lemon Z #42 by Ogen Cannabis Ltd.

This sativa-dominant cross of Lemon Skunk and Zkittlez is the latest offering from this Alberta-based small-batch producer known for its quality dried flower. Highlights: 19 to 25 percent THC, lemon aroma, sugary chocolate taste.

      Carmel Cannabis

      Animal Face by Carmel Cannabis

This ultra-potent sativa (26 percent THC!) produced in Ontario by one of the better regarded “craft” cannabis outfits (the term can be overused) takes its name from its mix of Face Off OG and Animal Mints strains and has become a noted seller in local retail shops in Toronto. Taste: lemon and cake.
