Bike to Work Week is back. HUB Cycling’s Fall Bike to Work Week presented by MEC is happening a month earlier this year from September 28 to October 4. Building on the success of Go by Bike Week in May and Bike to Shop in August, this event encourages Metro Vancouver residents to Go by Bike this fall.
By logging your bike trips each day (remember all bike trips count), participants will be entered to win the grand prize of a cycling trip for two to Portugal. The international vacation can be redeemed once it’s safe to travel again. Keep an eye on btww.ca as more great prizes are being announced daily.
Since many people are working from home during the pandemic, HUB Cycling is encouraging residents to try a 0km commute or “ride hour” challenge and take up to an hour out of your day to go by bike this Fall. Bike to Work Week is also the perfect opportunity to keep fit this fall.
Bike to Work Week is a hybrid event this fall with both a digital and physical schedule of free events including:
- 20 plus Knowledge HUBs (formerly celebration stations) across Metro Vancouver offering quick bike fixes, prizes, cycling information, and fun vibes.
- An online schedule of webinars, Q&As, cycling tips, and more.
- A family friendly scavenger hunt.
- Prizes for high performing teams in addition to daily grand prizes and social media competition.
Cyclists are welcome to participate solo or in teams. Register now at www.bikehub.ca/registration/.
