      Lovro Peretić 

      Croatian guitarist Lovro Peretić will be performing at Pyatt Hall as part of the Vancouver Classic Guitar Society’s 2023/24 series. The 28-year-old has won over 30 international guitar competitions.

      Aspiring Musicians Performance Series

      AMPS, AKA the Aspiring Musicians Performance Series, kicks off this November 8 and features performers and bands from a range of musical genres and styles. Big Easy Funk Ensemble and Redwoods kick things off on November 8.

      Dog Man: The Musical 

      TheatreWorksUSA is bringing Dog Man: The Musical to Vancouver’s Massey Theatre this October. It is based on the series by Dav Pilkey, the writer of Captain Underpants.

      Brass Camel

      The prog/funk rock group is returning to Vancouver on October 7 to support Apollo Suns on the Winnipeg band’s 40-date Departures Tour.

      Jeff Wilson’s North by Northwest

      A new collection of paintings from Vancouver artist Jeff Wilson will be on display at the THIS Gallery starting September 16, with an opening reception at noon.

      Haida Modern—the Art and Activism of Robert Davidson

      Indigenous artist Robert Davidson himself is expected to appear at a book signing and screening of the documentary about his life on October 13.

      Vancouver’s own Dan Mangan has announced that a visit to the Vogue Theatre will cap off his upcoming cross-Canada tour.

      Magazinists’ Metropolis

      The experimental music duo Magazinists (that’s Matthew Tomkinson and Andy Zuliani) will perform the live soundtrack of 1927’s Metropolis to celebrate the silent film entering the public domain.

      The singer-songwriter from Toronto is stopping by Vancouver on his The Back Together Tour with a performance at the Pearl.
