Have those allergy pills at the ready!

A new floral art exhibition called Artiste is coming to VanDusen.

Created by Fleur de Villes, Artiste brings viewers a unique blend of floral-adorned mannequins and botanical displays, each a tribute to a renowned artist. Imagine Yayoi Kusama’s iconic red bob and Frieda Kahlo’s traditional Mexican layers, all in a vibrant floral setting.

The event will also feature lots of photo ops with floral frames installed throughout, and a paint-by-numbers discovery trail for younger attendees. Other special activations include an Italian-inspired bar and cafe, gardening Q&As, and demonstrations.

“Building on the success of our show last year at VanDusen Botanical Garden, we are so pleased to be returning for our second-annual show with a theme loved by all,” shares Karen Marshall, Fleur de Villes co-founder, in a statement. “We expect an inspirational, educational, gorgeous series this year.”
