Metro Vancouver residents wake up to snow-covered streets

An authentic snowfall has come a little later to Lotusland than in previous years.
While there wass some of the white stuff earlier this month in the Tri-Cities, this the first time in 2021 that all of Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island have been blanketed.
In fact, there's even snow in Seattle and Portland.
A travel advisory is in effect in both directions on Highway 1 between Victoria and Duncan where motorists are being encouraged to avoid nonessential travel.
