Several food products are being recalled in British Columbia, as well as other provinces, due to undeclared ingredients that are considered allergens.

Anyone who has food allergies should check to see if they have any of the following products that they may be allergic to. Consumption of these products by someone with a food allergy could cause a serious or even life-threatening reaction.

More information about food allergies is available at the CFIA website.

      Bread

On October 16, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced that North Vancouver’s Artisan Bake Shoppe began recalling its Organic Multigrain Bread (750 grams) with UPC 8 15495 00003 5.

The product is being recalled in British Columbia due to the presence of undeclared sesame seeds and includes all of these products that do not have sesame declared in English or French.
