The deets:

Just in time for Earth Day, the ethically sourced V-10s are entirely vegan, with cotton canvas uppers coated with resin from the corn waste industry, vegan-suede overlay, and a wild-rubber base from Brazil.  The jersey lining is made from recycled polyester and  organic cotton. We like them in white with natural V logo and heel patch, to go with the low-key eco-vibe ($210). 

Randomness:

Veja's V-10 style was originally introduced to celebrate the sustainable French brand's 10th anniversary. The company has a Brazilian supply chain, using wild rubber tappers in the Amazon. The word "veja" is Portuguese-Brazilian for "'look"—as in, look beyond the style and into the ethical practices of the brand.
