What’s happening this week in Vancouver: February 27 to March 5

Farewell February, we hardly knew thee.

Well, that’s not so true. Even though we’re coming to the end of the shortest month of the year (a boon for those paid twice monthly, a curse for renters who get two or three fewer days of shelter for the same damn price), we’re glad to see that the absolutely stellar lineup of events from the top of the year simply will not stop coming as we head into March.

Here are a few that stood out to us to start the month off on the right foot:

      The Flaming Lips

The psychedelic rock band that has been melting our faces off since the 80s will be performing at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom on both Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1, and the last few tickets are somehow still (as of the writing of this article) available.

      When: Feb. 28, March 1

      Admission: $82
