Vancouver, BC – Summer is almost here, which means 7-Eleven Canada’s legendary Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup event is back for two days of Slurpee-filled fun. On Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18th 7-Eleven Canada invites Slurpee lovers to bring their most creative Slurpee vessels to 7-Eleven Canada stores and fill them with Slurpee for just $2.00.
Every year, fans flock to 7-Eleven to fill everything from crock-pots to fine china with Slurpee. This year, Slurpee fans are challenged to get even wackier with their vessel choices – this is no ordinary Slurpee BYOC event after all. This year’s Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup event kicks off the celebrations happening around 7-Eleven’s 50th year in Canada.
To celebrate 50 summers of Slurpee, 7-Eleven will be partying like it’s 1969 all summer long. Festivities include the Slurpee BYOC event and a free Slurpee giveaway on the 7th and 11th of every month all summer long for 7Rewards members. Plus, party-goers can enjoy new and exclusive Slurpee flavours like the Ghostbusters Green Apple Watermelon Slurpee and Strawberry Blast Slurpee – available at 7-Eleven for a limited time.
Customers can join the fun by snapping a pic of their Slurpee BYOC vessels and sharing them on social media with the hashtag #BYOCCanada. For rules and regulations, and to learn more about this year’s Slurpee BYOC event, click here.
