Tofino, BC - Pacific Sands Beach Resort unveils the property's luxurious Lodge Suites. The transformation results in unparalleled beachfront lodging, inspired by the surrounding Tofino landscape, and brings the award-winning resort's total renovation from recent years up to $11.2 million.

Boasting picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean, Pacific Sands Beach Resort's Lodge Suites are sumptuous havens offering travellers a stylish home-away-from-home experience. The recent renovations have elevated the suites from upscale to extraordinary and include replacements to all furnishings and the removal of walls to open and brighten living spaces. All Lodge Suites are situated steps from the beach with patios overlooking the Pacific Ocean surf.

The kitchens received a striking remodel with detailed upgrades like stainless-steel appliances; exquisitely designed cabinets, sinks and faucets; and sleek quartz countertops framed by white tile backsplashes. The bathrooms feature improved layouts, as well as thoughtfully curated cabinets, faucets, tubs and tub surrounds.

Existing flooring was replaced with sturdy and stain-resistant cork vinyl plank accented by richly hued carpets. The fireplaces are highlighted by porcelain tiles made in Italy, and the dining tables, benches and bedroom sets are crafted from majestic oak. The living areas feature marble-top coffee and side tables surrounding charcoal-coloured couches. Artwork adorning each room features dreamy Vancouver Island landscapes by local photographers Jeremy Koreski, Owen Perry and Kyler Vos.

In addition, two Signature Suites were added to the second floor, each with private hot tubs beckoning visitors with alluring ocean views.

In 2018, the resort completed an $10-million renovation that added 43 new suites - increasing total beachfront accommodations to 120 - and introduced cozy amenities like barbecue pits and beach hammocks. Each surf-in, surf-out suite features a spacious floorplan, patio or balcony, full kitchen and cozy fireplace with visitors offered a choice between one-, two- and three-bedroom options.

"We have had the absolute pleasure of welcoming visitors to Tofino for over 45 years and continue to look for ways to elevate the resort and provide incomparable service" said Operations Manager, Sabrina Donovan. "We are beyond thrilled with the resort's recent transformation and look forward to showing new and returning guests how much of an oceanside paradise Pacific Sands truly is."

Pacific Sands offers guests oceanside amenities that include onsite surfboard and paddleboard rentals, surf lessons with Surf Sister Surf School and fresh bites at onsite casual eatery Surfside Grill. Complimentary offerings include morning yoga, resort-wide Wi-Fi and hot drinks, while select groceries and childcare services are available for a fee.
