Do you think the National Rifle Association is filled with racist gun nuts who deserve a fair chunk of the blame for school shootings and other mass murders?

If you answered "yes" and you have 20 minutes to spare, then you might want to check out the video below.

It's by the Yes Men, a group of clever media pranksters on a mission to create a more dignified, enlightened, and compassionate world.

In the video, they impersonate an NRA spokesperson at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

But before doing this, the Yes Men created a fake campaign called "Share the Safety", complete with business cards, media releases, and a website.

Watch the Yes Men make a mockery of the National Rifle Association.

The video punks the NRA by suggesting it was in cahoots with Smith & Wesson to donate "an appropriate firearm to an at-risk low-income citizen in the urban centre of your choice" every time a person bought a weapon from the gun company.

"We even shot a share the safety promo video that was just absurd enough to feel like something out the actual NRA might do," one of the Yes Men says in the video.
