      From May 3 to 13, DOXA Documentary Film Festival presents a program of 93 films (shorts and features) that offer radical and transformative ideas through music, art, and the power of people working together to create and share solutions. Screenings take place at the Vancouver Playhouse, VIFF’s Vancity Theatre, the Cinematheque, the Orpheum Annex, Museum of Vancouver, and SFU’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.

      DOXA's opening-night gala includes a screening of The Rankin File: Legacy of a Radical, Teresa Alfeld’s biography of Vancouver lawyer, city councillor, housing activist, and legendary firebrand Harry Rankin, and the festival closes with Kusama—Infinity, about Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama.

      Special programs include Justice Forum, Rated Y for Youth, French French, Embedded with Extremists, From Our EyesQuietude, and  Press Play. The festival also features an expanded Industry Day, artist talks, panel discussions, and parties.
