Robert De Niro receives standing ovation at Tony Awards with F-bomb for Donald Trump

"It's no longer down with Trump," Robert De Niro declared at last night's Tony Awards.

      "It's fuck Trump."

With that, the veteran actor pumped his fists in the air as the audience went crazy, giving him a prolonged standing ovation.

According to the tweet below, this message wasn't censored by the Australian feed of the show.

CBS, on the other hand, censored the F-words out of De Niro's speech to its American TV audience.

This display of contempt for Trump isn't a new thing for De Niro.

During the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign, he called Trump a "mutt", a "punk", and a "bullshit artist".

      Update:

The Toronto Star has reported that De Niro visited Toronto on June 11 and apologized to Justin Trudeau and other G7 leaders for Trump's comments.
