- Amber J (pop, R&B) from Trail;
- Cassiøpeia (alternative pop) from Burnaby;
- Adrian Chalifour (indie-rock, folk-rock) from Victoria
- Ben Cottrill (acoustic rock, soul) from Vancouver;
- Clancy Coulter (R&B, alternative pop) from Princeton;
- The Faceplants (pop-rock) from Vancouver;

The rotating panel of mentors this season will also include some hometown talent—Sarah McLachlan (February 6) and Bryan Adams (February 27) —who will join the likes of Jann Arden, Arkells’ Max Kerman, Bebe Rexha, and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.
This year’s lineup of producers include Alex Hope, Jon Levine, Shaun Frank, and Nile Rodgers.
Regulars throughout the season will include Big Machine Label Group founder and CEO Scott Borchetta, Quebec pop star Marie-Mai (as a permanent mentor), and entertainment reporter Liz Trinnear (as host).
Season 2 of The Launch premieres on CTV on Wednesday (January 30) at 8 p.m. (PT) and will run for six episodes.
Season 1 produced the single “Ain’t Easy” by Ottawa-based pop/hip-hop duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine.
