On Friday (February 15) the rest of the world was talking about Seth Rogen in connection with the new trailer for Long Shot, an upcoming film costarring Charlize Theron and Boyz II Men.

The political comedy is scheduled to be released on May 3.

Directed by Jonathan Levine, it features Rogen as a journalist and Theron as the secretary of state who needs a speechwriter.

It so happens that many years earlier, the secretary of state was the journalist's babysitter.

But fans of the Vancouver-raised Rogen were more preoccupied with something else last night.

      Timbits.

      That's right.

Last night when Rogen and his Vancouver-raised friend, director Evan Goldberg, appeared at the Vogue Theatre as part of the JFL NorthWest 2019 comedy festival, they engaged in that most Canadian pastime.

They handed out Timbits to members of the audience.

Earlier in the day, Rogen and Goldberg visited the Vancouver Convention Centre for the unveiling of "Hometown Stars" along with other dignitaries.
